By creating an account or using Grocerplan you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Grocerplan is a meal-planning web app at grocerplan.com; mobile apps may follow. It helps you plan your week of meals, generates a combined grocery list, and hands that list off to a retailer for checkout.

Grocerplan never places an order for you. You review the items and complete checkout yourself on Instacart or Kroger. Grocerplan does not sell groceries, process payments, or deliver food.

You need an account (email address and password) to use the app. You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your credentials confidential, give us accurate information, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

To build your shopping-list page we send Instacart the ingredient names and quantities from your list and the retailer you selected. Everything after that — prices, product availability, substitutions, fees, payment, delivery or pickup, and refunds — happens on Instacart under Instacart’s own terms and privacy policy. The same applies to Kroger when you use the Kroger cart add. Grocerplan is not responsible for either retailer’s pricing, availability, or store operations, and product matches are suggestions you should check before you pay.

When you check out on Instacart after using our “Shop on Instacart” link, Grocerplan may earn a commission from Instacart’s affiliate program (operated via Impact.com). This does not change your prices.

Grocerplan is currently free to use and we do not offer paid plans, so there are no fees, billing, or refund terms today. If we introduce paid plans, we will publish pricing and payment terms first and you will only be charged if you choose to subscribe. Payments would be processed by Stripe, and we would never store your card numbers.

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, comments, and other content you add. You give us the license we need to operate the service: to store, display, and process that content for you — including sending recipe text to our ingredient-parsing provider and list items to the retailer you choose — and, if you create a share link, to show the shared content to anyone who has the link. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

Grocerplan is an independent application and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Instacart or Kroger. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Calorie, macro, and other nutrition figures are estimates for informational purposes only. They are not medical advice and do not replace guidance from a doctor or registered dietitian. Allergen filtering is best-effort: recipes and product matches may still contain or come into contact with an allergen. Always check ingredient labels before you buy or eat something, especially if you have a food allergy or a medical condition.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grocerplan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service or of any retailer, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk. After termination, your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date; for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continuing to use Grocerplan after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Grocerplan is operated from the United States, and these terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have under the laws where you live.
